How have we seen God in 22 years at New 2 You? 🥰

Here’s a few responses we got from our volunteers:

🤍 I’ve heard customers say the exact things I’ve needed to hear that day. Hearing their words and seeing their smiles helps me feel God’s love for all of us.

🤍 On the day before Thanksgiving, a family came in looking for a dining room table. They had just moved and had no furniture. They found a table they liked, but they couldn’t afford the delivery fee. A customer nearby overheard and paid the full fee for them so they could celebrate Thanksgiving at a table.

🤍 I see God in our managers’ faces!

🤍 Met a customer whose dad was good friends with my dad in Greenville! We have become good friends and she had shared a number of tragic stories with me and other volunteers for comfort and strength to keep moving forward.

🤍 I feel constantly blown away with the generosity of our donors. The fact that we get mountains of clothes in a day is a blessing!

🤍 We hear stories about our customers giving some of our free Bibles to their friends and the lives of their friends are completely changed! God is so good!

🤍 Dégagé Ministries really appreciates the men’s socks and shoes we’re able to donate.

🤍 One time, a customer just bought a beautiful lamp and as she finished checking out, the lady behind her complimented on how gorgeous it was. In pure kindness, the first customer gifted it to the other, saying she didn’t really need it.

🤍 Customers love to find friendly, good listeners with the volunteers. We may be their only friends or the only kind word they have heard in a while.
